Day zero

Furlough day zero...  Drank a cocktail to mark my entrance into the realm of the furloughed.  It's a very weird status...  I'm still a government employee, and as such am still subject to the usual ethics rules about outside employment and conflicts of interest. But, I'm not paid and it's illegal to do any work. Go figure...
